Over a Mile of Art & Live Music!

The Balboa Island Artwalk is the premier showcase for talented local artists with art, music, sun & fun for the
whole family! The 29th Annual Balboa Island Artwalk will take place

Sunday, May 19th, 2024 from
9am to 5pm 

along the
South Bayfront Promenade
of Balboa Island,
Along the water!
Admission is free.   

This acclaimed fine art show features 85 artists exhibiting paintings, hand-crafted jewelry, blown glass, sculpture,
and photography. Spectators will enjoy live music throughout the day on four stages along the walk.

Performing musicians include
Matt Hurray, Mark Wood, (at Amethyst Ave. Stage) 9am-5pm
The Original Retros (at Diamond Ave. Stage), 9am-5pm
The Rick Sherman Duo (at Topaz Ave Stage) 9am-5pm
and Don Ross Band with Sara Jade (at Pearl Ave Stage) 9am-5pm

Limited-edition Artwalk posters and t-shirts will be available at Diamond & South Bayfront.

Artwalk Artist Awards will be presented at 2pm on the Diamond stage.
A comfortable set of walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended.
Local restaurants will be open to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


Directions
Beautiful Balboa Island is located within the Newport Beach Harbor.

Off Pacific Coast Highway, head to the water at Jamboree which becomes Marine Avenue
after you come over the charming Balboa Island bridge.
Downtown Marine Avenue where Balboa Island’s shops are located, and it is on your way
to the South Bayfront where the Balboa Island Artwalk takes place along the waterfront promenade.

Carpooling and drop-offs are advised. Uber and Lyft are great options. 
Please note that there will be no shuttle service this year.

Additional Parking 
The Balboa Peninsula parking lot is located at the end of the 55 South / Newport Blvd. Exit 405 Freeway
on 55 Freeway South onto the peninsula and head to Palm Street. Turn right for the parking lot near the pier.
Take the historic Balboa Ferry across to Balboa Island’s South Bayfront, a two minute ride.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located every three blocks or so on the Bayfront Promenade, at the Marine Avenue Fire Station,
and at Coral, Collins & Agate Avenues.
